On religion and other belief systems

I would rather be entertained by the pursuit of the elusive answers in life. To question is to learn. Religion is the end of questions and the pursuit of knowledge. It is the beginning of self delusion and allows others to take advantage of your weakness of mind.

Unquestionable answers (Religion) or unanswerable questions (Science). Which do you prefer?
My choice is the unbiased pursuit of knowledge and the acceptance that I will never have all the answers. (But I will have more than those that think they already have all the answers.)

Knowledge is an advantage to your families survival. Ignorance is a weakness that will be exploited to take advantage of those you love.

Science is said to be a religion as it does require some faith. I choose science since I can modify my "faith" as new evidence presents itself.

Religion is the vain belief that all of the questions have been answered by someone smarter than yourself... It is the wish for a better world in which someone really cares. No one cares about you beyond their own selfish reasoning's except family. History illustrates this fully. No one has died trying to prove or disprove science. Millions and millions have died, been tortured and worse over the irrational beliefs of religion.
